I have [finally] reached the first milestone!!! (which i thought i had reached 10 posts ago!) 50 entries... which, like i said before, is an achievement for me, as i was once so opposed to this sort of thing... and also cos i never have anything interesting to blog about...
So i went to the markets on the weekend with Megan... i got the best top - with the best phrase on it... ha ha. And a cute jacket. And the yummiest bananas! ... and there was a stupid man who tried to sell us a window cleaning thing - why??? cos he was stupid! Who tries to sell two teenagers something like that?
I read in the paper this weekend about a 26yr old who is dying from skin cancer cos she was a regular user of solariums. There is a girl in my course at uni who is also a die-hard fan of solariums - to the point of having a killer tan (and very unnatural looking) ... and she is going to end up just like this girl in the papers. Either dying from skin cancer, or looking like a shrivelled prune before she's 30. Do people like this not realise the dangers of what they are doing? ... no, how stupid of me - how can they not realise? There are warnings everywhere. They must just be naiive and believe themselves invincible and immune to such things.

i'm going to be like that when i'm old.
if i get there.
i wish there was just one time i could go to the beach and come home without the burning.
stupid supersensitive, burn easily (through clothes i might add!) skin that freckles.
Getting sunburnt sucks. I remember i decided i would sunbake the two days before the hsc started last year, because it was more enjoyable to write essays in the sun, than in my room. So i sunbaked alright - and was red and painful for the english exams...
yess sunburn is the work of the devil.
i hate it. but it's so good when you tan.
yes, tan is good... well it looks good... that is, until you get skin cancer...
