hmmm... i just spent half an hour ...actually, maybe more like 45 minutes... creating the first page of a power point for a uni assignment... but at least i can say that time was well spent as it is fun and funky (and very appropriate lol) and i think it should get a laugh... it has a picture of nuns holding rifles.... yeahhhh... and you're asking how is that appropriate? Well to tell the truth, im not too sure - it has something to do with personality... or maybe conflicting personalities?
Anyway. Onto something else. My brother is in yr 5 and he comes home today to tell us that he has to read 'The Diary of Anne Frank' for literacy circles (kind of like reading groups). How is Anne Frank appropriate for 10 year olds??? How is a ten year old possibly going to read it, appreciate it, answer lots of questions on it? And more importantly, they won't enjoy it. ... Does anyone agree, or am i just way off the mark on this one?
On the way home today, someone was smoking... on the train!! How disgusting. At least when they smoke on the platform you can escape it. But on the train! Well i didn't see anyone smoking, but i could smell it... or maybe i could still smell the smoke i shared with other sports ppls after the beep test this morning (ha - how ironic is that... that actually sounds really bad)...
Did you know that once you ppl get to the age of 25, if you do not keep physical activity up you will lose physiological functions (including brain power) by 1% each year! ... Although even if you are active you still deteriorate by 0.5% each year...
Ok. I should go... places to go and people to meet...! (and the piano sounds like a carnival, and the microphone smells like a beer!!)
Oh and by the way, i was only joking when I said i had a smoke today. That's if you were even gullible enough to believe me in the first place...
