Friday was swim club champs - which started out good, but cancelled half way through due to the storm. Which provided us with some entertainment, as we didnt want to go walk to the car in the pouring rain, so charlie ran to the car for us (with a towel over his head - dont know what that was going to do!!) and drove it back for us :) and we all sat there laughing cos he looked so funny!
Kara's party was fun, even though i was only there for such a tiny bit of it.
Saturday i had a state swim meet in Botany. Had to be there at 8:30am. Picked up bronze in my freestyle, silver for free relay and bronze for medley relay. Which was good - a medal for all my races! .. apart from that it was a good day.
So... dad and i get home at almost 6ish and i was planning to go meet up with this guy at about 8:00ish. So thats all ok.
But then mum tells us about their day - my pop (who is 82 by the way) was on the roof of their house and fell off and hit his head. So the whole of berowra knows, cos a helicopter had to land on the school oval and fly him to westmead, where he still remains and probably will for awhile :(
But i was still going to go out - i thought it would take my mind off it and whatever. But then i went back up to the bathroom (at about 7:40) and discover that i have flooded the whole bathroom/vanity!! I had put the plug in the basin and turned on the tap and walked away and completely forgot about it!!!! And there was water everywhere! The carpet is still drying now as i type this. ..... So i had to bail on Ari at the last minute cos i had a big job cleaning up to do.
So my weekend was going to be good, until my stupidity totally ruined it :( I feel so bad for bailing on him.
Yesterday was a good day at uni though. We did ergometry in the lab, which was fun. Then jacelle and i went to the library to answer our lab questions and get them out of the way, and then the lect and then kathy drove me to Hornsby!! ... the only thing that ruined that was seeing a car accident... :(
But i have to go get ready for uni!! And i dont want to be late.

We were worried that you might get electrocuted on friday- impressive storm - and congrats on medals!! I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather- i hope everything works out for the best. Also..don't worry about bailing on your friend...i'm sure you will have many more fun times with him!!
